There is great flexibility in the choice of courses, and students can even take one course outside their specialisation, for example a course on international law or intellectual property law.
Students choose four courses and write a dissertation on an approved topic in the area of international commercial law. This international outlook is reinforced by many of our lecturers who have a non-British or non-European background. International is the overall emphasis of the whole LLM programme at Glasgow, whether that is the international commercial law stream of the Glasgow LLM, or the streams of Corporate & Financial Law, or Intellectual Property Law, or International Competition Law or International Law.
